The Calprotectin assay has become one of the main issue in the diagnosis of inflammatory intestinal diseases,  in which the Crohn disease and the ulcerative colitis. 

The calprotectin is a une molecule contained in the cytosol of  neutrophils released during the inflammation.

Its presence in high concentration in stools allows to diagnose some inflammatory bowel diseases (IBD) in the case of non organic diseases, like the irritable bowel syndrome. These two types are usually difficult to differenciate and above all they don’t involve the same process of care!  

Aware of this issue,  we offer you a range of products based on the calprotectin assay,non invasive,  prescribe as well for the screening and the grown-ups monitoring who potentially suffer of IBD as for screening and pediatric monitoring

Presented as cassettes, the Calfast ® quick test of our partner EUROSPITAL allows you in a few minutes to detect the presence or the absence of calprotectin in a sample of stools.

The Calfast ®quick test can also be read in the calfast reader, which will analyze the brightness of the band to establish the concentration, and so the test can become quantitative.  A system for automatic acquisition of barcode and the reader is also available.

The diagnosis could be completed by a quantitative ELISA assay with the Calprest®,

The concentration in Calprotectin of the sample can be measured thanks to a standard curve, all the standards are included in the kit.
